Life here is good. I flew for the first time today and got to see some of the Afghan country side. It looks like parts of the Front Range in Colorado. Except swap the farm houses and meth labs for flat roofed square huts and homemade explosives labs.

Here in a few days I should start flying missions and getting into the flow of things for how they will be for the next year. So we will see how things go! I am looking forward to getting busy and starting the fun. Because time flies when you are having fun….
